The kind of dairy some farmers only dream of owning stands at the heart of Lambase village on the outskirts of Lusikisiki in the Eastern Cape. What was once a state of the art facility built by government for what may have been noble intentions is now a crumbling white elephant.
Just about everything is falling apart. The machinery, including tools to milk cows, is broken, rusty and dirty.
