The South African National Roads Agency (Sanral) has handed over 72 hectares of land to the Human Settlements Department in Knysna. The land will be used to build 500 houses, a clinic, school and a police station.
Human Settlements Minister Lindiwe Sisulu has described the new project as closing the gap between the rich and poor.
