Former president Kgalema Motlanthe has warned of social upheavals if the government fails to create opportunities in which people can live a normal life and thrive.
“Social upheavals are caused by the fact that people don’t have access to job opportunities,” Motlanthe told The Citizen at Luthuli House on Monday during a discussion on the land question.
