Rural development buffs led by Minister Gugile Nkwinti recently went on a pilgrimage for the second time to Kimberley where they held a dialogue with the Khoisan nation.
The first such dialogue was also held in Kimberley last year. These encounters are a sequel to President Jacob Zuma’s announcement during his state of the nation address in 2013 where he told Parliament the government would take up the issue of the land dispossession of the Khoisan people and explore ways to bring them into the restitution process.
