THE chairperson of the Griqua Traditional Council in Kokstad, Gabriel Marais, welcomed government’s disposition to cater to the Khoi and San people, this after Marais attended a dialogue on Exceptions to the 1913 Policy Framework.

According to a government report, the purpose of the dialogue is to provide a platform to enable further discussions with a particular focus on finalising consultation on the Exceptions Policy Framework, which is to be submitted to cabinet with a request for approval to publish the policy framework for public and finalising consultation.
