The long-term leaseholds that will be available to foreigners for agricultural land will be for a minimum of 30 years, Rural Development and Land Reform Minister Gugile Nkwinti said on Tuesday.
Mr Nkwinti provided this clarification of the leaseholds following the announcement by President Jacob Zuma in his state of the nation address that foreigners would in future be banned from owning agricultural land.
